Shameless pun

I often pride myself on the my ability to come up with a catchy title every now and then. You know, it's like that first impression when you meet someone....if you don't click within a few minutes of meeting, the odds tend to go south. Therefore, I have no excuse for the subtitle of this digest. It's me!

As you might have figured out, this will be a blog about local restaurants, food festivals, bars....the places you might go for an evening out. I travel a lot for work and usually end up in cities like Chicago, Boston, New York, Washington DC, New Orleans, San Francisco as well as other places on the convention roster. I rarely go to chains....the irony of which is illustrated by the photo in the header of the blog. It's a strip between two small towns in Tennessee. I found the picture on Google and stretched it out. I wouldn't mind checking out Cheddar's though.

I love to cook....I like to eat food that tastes good. My tastes are varied....I pretty much like everything. I'll eat at the five-star places, I'll eat at a local diner....it's an emotional thing. If you happen upon my writings and like what you see, let others know....just like that good first impression, as they say in sales, referrals are everything!
